Why I Love Jesus
It's His love that draws me to Him, it's His strength that keeps me strong. His joy so overflows my soul my heart is filled with song. It's His blood that bought my pardon, He gives mercy every day. He is walking close beside me Showing me the narrow way. It's HIs patient understanding, It's His one time sacrifice. It's His glorious resurrection that gives eternal life. It's His words that ever soothe me whispered softly in my heart, Or leaping from the pages. It's His wisdom they impart. It's His peace that rests within me, when those tempest storms rage on. It's His promises remembered when Satan come on strong. It's His arms that give me shelter and His hands that help me up. Those nail scarred hand that hold me they are love, more than enough. It's His face i'm always seeking and His righteousness so pure, And it's His Heaven that awaits me if I will but endure. It's His return that keeps me hoping, it's His promise sure and true. To take me home to be with Him, that 's what I look forward too.
