Lord Took My Pain Away
Just give me one more chance, To make this right. If you would hold my hand, And get me through the night. Give me a hint of laughter, Until the end of time, But in the end, It's so hard to say goodbye. You seen the tears in my eyes, As you drove away, I guess goodbye is, Never to far away.. And when your dreaming, Or when you wish upon a star, Sometimes I wonder, If I'm still in your heart. Give me a reason why i should stay, When i still don't know, Who you are today. I lay my head down, And i start to pray. But i still hear the laughter, That we used to share, It's been eight years, But still a little bit hard to bare. And when I'm thinking, When the day is through, It still comes down to All the memories of you. Seems too hard to go through, Day By Day, Counting the seconds, From when you went away. I'll go through November, December follows by, I'll keep on moving, Until my there's nothing left to inside. Tomorrows a different day, But they all feel the same, And my last words before heart gives in, I whisper as I weakly lay. .... "Lord Took My Pain Away!"
