He was tired of only seeing the world from the vantage that he had, And if he kept on seeing things this way it would eventually drive him mad. So he crossed the road to look at things from a different point of view, To see if the grass was any greener or if the sky had a different hue. But upon arriving there he was disappointed in what there was to see, The world looked exactly the same except by one hundred and eighty degrees. “Enough of this,” he said to himself as his pace began to quicken, I know what’s for dinner tonight, that’s the last time I’ll listen to a chicken. But when he crossed the road he was hit by a bus that was traveling the land, And the chicken wore a poultry smile, it had worked out better than she’d planed.
