Friend of the Closest Star
The quite and long nights that summer offered to a pure heart subdued by joy, when that furtest star seemed to come down from the vast Heaven... and be a friend to the unhappiest boy! Mysteriously beautiful, alone and apart from others: like me,unnoticed and unloved... seeking comfort and more! Amazingly gorgeous forever, envied for your dazzling beauty; conspired against by all... to expell you from your prominent spot: but rejoice, no harm can ever come to you, because the One who created you,so perfectly, was extremely pleased in you... ignoring the ones that dared to plot! The perfumed petals that bloom, in this blissful spring, are more colorful and festive than any rainbow that wishes to be seen; as crickets prepare a new melody to sing, dense shadows lose their power to doom, because your awesomeness blends with my own gladness! I should be afraid or fear darkness on this deserted island: to only see the silent owls so frightening with their glances,. to only feel trepidance, but looking up,I'm taken by stupor... being able to ease the fear of my tremor,, because I am a friend of the closest star!
