My Dreams
As the rain falls And more clouds gather I remember the lies I was told! How my dreams they shattered My dad… my dad told me one thing My mom she told me another Voices from so many directions It’s my decision so I didn’t bother I was so pissed off… I was filled with rage How could my parents not listen? That my life was in an unusual stage! I wanted freedom… I wanted a chance to prove my worth To make something of myself Prove my place on this earth My dreams was just the start What I had planned was grand But how can I make my parents listen How can I make them understand?? I am but a mere man Wanting the chance to amaze the world With what I have in store for them How can I be ignored? I had big dreams… really huge… How can I be denied the stage? I felt like I was being held back Kept away from the world, locked in a cage… Can no one pay attention? To my needs, my big ambitions Why keep me away from the possibilities Isn’t that my decision? My dreams…. My dreams Lost in the sea of misery Forever out of my reach Some people might say it was a horrid destiny! :( Eliel202
