Trapped
More time is gone and lost my heart that i've given has been tossed the wind breaks in angry snarls against my face bitterly growling; like a lone wolf lost in the dark snapping at those who try to help never letting out a feeble yelp i feel the blood run down my cheeks like tears it's warm an dlanguid, it covers my exposed flesh mixing with the dirt caked on my bloodied hands where the chains lock and glisten under the full moon the glow illuminates my flesh the blood is colored black there is no mirror i can't see my face and eyes i close them, but one tear escapes, as i cry i wonder, "why?" then, suddenly, voices in the south break about the old cobble stone walls they echo swiftly through these prison halls only my wrists are chained; my feet move freely two shadows, blocking the corridors light, their voices are incoherent whispers as their eyes do stare back as my adrenaline wanes pretty soon it will be death that i do feign the incoherent whispers grow more silent as they avert their gaze and continue on down the hall, scratching a sword along the wall; causing a screech to break out among the stones i cover my ears with chained hands until the sound disappears when its gone, my eyes explode with tears sobbing gasps escape my lips my body crumbles to the cold ground adrenaline has faded, hysteria has taken over my body shakes and the sobs desist and begin to smother the night grows silent as the moon doth rise and i try to ignore and prevent myself from staring directly into deaths eyes
