Love and Hate-Now and Then
He meant, But was mean, He brought all the glow and sheen, But obfuscated the same, with black screen, And he made her cry, Bitter tears, He kissed them away, And promised her, Another passionate, Fervent try. She knew not, What and how to take, Of this fellow mean, Who knew so well, To nurture her, On a song, and a warm wean, She seesawed, For long, Jerking between, The dear mate, And his inexplicable hate, And a confused fate. The day came, When the other one, Married and separated to her, Walked in, She had deserted him in some fellowship sin. He was her beau, Who had missed Her and cried, She knew she Would never have the same, Gleam and sheen, But at least he was not mean. Her sway and seesaw stopped, And she stopped, For a fate, That she could easily rate, It was a hard and honest life, As a wife. They really say it so well, Life teaches lessons the hard way, You have to not only, Identify the cat, And her neck, But also firmly tie the bell. You may bloom, But watch out for the gloom, And the eventual doom, That has found, In you, A comfortable room. All packages look bright, From afar, All that shines, Is not gold and sun, It’s good, You know it now, My dear, And are no longer, On the run. As a bystander …….I had experienced an adventure in self discovery.
