Smiley And Frowny
SMILEY AND FROWNY A bizarre affair pitches a fatty and a skinny, An unlikely one-sided romance of Smiley & Frowny. Differently built, she's roundie & he's slimmie. Glittering love is written in the eye of the girl, Her face is so plumpy, swollen, so pearl.5 And body, much more than 30 people's name. She's on the big side, a little more tame. Cladded in her hijab with pride and joy, Her smile could turn a frown to coy. Her cheeks, so pumped like a ballon, It looks like it will burst very soon. But there was a man, so slim and stall, With a face, so stern, a scowl for all. Their eyes did meet, a stare battle will occur, The man's frown face shaped up a contour,¹° Despite her smile being contagious, indeed, Couldn't sweep away his frown at a great speed. Then she spoke and spoke with glee, The girl's charm and wit, a sight to see. Tried to capture his heart, but his face remained bold, Though her smile & words kept him on hold. Smiley giggled and laughed all day, The girl's smiles, so bright, like a ray of May, Her curves unbearable & boobs, a sight to behold. The man's small slim frame, a story to be told.²° But it was their hearts, so strong and true, That made them so real to converse anew. And though their bodies were different, so vast, Her love was the same, it would always last. Their different emotions, like a battle, was a tie, Then she whispers to him with a fixed smile: 'Love's not about looks, but the heart's degree. What you need isn’t always found in what you see, So never judge a book by its cover, Love is what matters, now & forever.'³5 VICK MANUEL POETRY {VMP} FORM: Rhymes Copyright ©? December 2023.
