A Fairy's Tale- Revised
Long ago in a small village lived two shy and awkward children. A boy and a girl. The girl's name was Amelia. He called her Melia. The boy's name was Louis. She called him Louie. He was a descendant of fairies. His great, great, great grandparents were fairies. They were full-blooded fairies. She couldn't believe that her best friend Louie, who she knew all her life was related to fairies. Legend says, they had magical powers and beautiful wings, and they could fly very high. Louis and Amelia were always together and got along really well because they both were shy and awkward. One day in particular when they were walking through the forest she said, "Hey Louie, have I ever told...... he interrupted her and said, " Told me what?" She looked at him and said, " Let me finish. That I want to meet and fall in love with a handsome Prince." When she stopped talking, he ran towards the woods and said, " Melia let's play hide and seek." She ran after him and yelled, "Hey wait up you little brat." As he continued to run his thoughts ran wild saying, " Melia is so beautiful and I think I have a crush on her. But I can't tell her that, it would be so weird." Amelia was lost and couldn't see Louie anywhere in sight, then she heard something moving in the woods, she thought maybe it was a bear or a lion. She was scared, so she started to scream from the top of her lungs, " LOUIE WHERE ARE YOU?" At that moment he heard the panic in her voice and stopped immediately. He said, "I'm on my way, Where are you?" She yelled, and stated as calmly as she could, "I have no idea, just get here please, before I become someone's lunch." Louie had got there really quick. " There you are." He replied in a loving tone. They embraced and she gave him a light tap on the shoulders and said, " Why did you take off running in the first place?" Before he could answer Amelia realized that she had a major crush on her best friend Louis. Then all of a sudden she noticed that he had changed right before her eyes. He was glowing and he had wings. Then she thought to herself, " I found my prince and he's been here all along." Then blurted out, " Louie I thought you said that fairy thing had skipped you?" He looked at her all nonchalantly in a Louie way and replied," I thought it had too, I'm just as surprised as you are. Melia, I'm gonna be able to fly and do all kinds of cool things. When I learn how all this stuff works. Will you come to fly with me?" She looked him straight in his big brown eyes and said," Of course, I will silly, Don't you know that I would fly with you anywhere?"In that instance knew that Amelia felt the same way that he did." In the meantime let's go to the river." He stated, as a boy with his first crush." I'd love to." With those words, she ran past him, headed towards the river. He caught up with her, and they started laughing locked hands with each other and jumped in. And lived happily ever. 4/02/2023
