Not So Alone
Into the night I walked alone With a breeze so friendly to come along So silent it was when passing by That a rhythm of music danced with the pupil of my eye Creepy sounds from allies approached Shaking my existence with fright that poached Deep inside me, forcing my interiors to tremble Yet, they stand still and resist the crumble Memories accompanied my walk as well Reminding me of the times that dwell Yet some are so good and joyful While others fill them visions so dull A smile begins to appear on my face As my cheeks begin to get squashed near the ear's base I blush when I remember those cheerful, happy memories Those pieces that built my history But, life isn't filled with just happiness and joy But also the sound of an exploding cry Although they are beasts that bewitch my smile Casting a spell to turn it into a far distant mile Destroying it into a heart breaking frown Building a strong foundation of scowl These, my friend, are the smell of Yasmine That is so pure and clean Pure as the wide open sea Clean as the bright nourishing hazel tree And so, I am not so alone For I am engulfed with my friends that are not on the phone But in my book of memories Always there beside me even in agony...
