Gobbledegook is language that sounds official or busy but is hard to understand because it is cluttered with jargon, jargon-like phrasing, or meaningless wording. In poetry, the word is usually used critically to describe lines that confuse readers without creating a deliberate effect of nonsense, voice, or playfulness.

The memo of mist and metrics said:
"Synergize the moonbeam protocol,
then operationalize the hush."
Nobody knew what it meant.
