Anne-Lise, I too posted 3 poems yesterday (and received some nice comments) and sent several Soup Mail. When I logged in at 9:00pm my poems, comments and replies were gone. I checked my "sent" folder in Soup Mail and the ones I sent were gone. Yikes! Thankfully, I do what Tom does, always write it in MS Word so I'll have a backup. I then copy and paste the actual poem (to the same MS Word document) as it appears on PoetrySoup, including its media (photos, illustrations, etc) so I'll have a backup of how it actually looked on the site. It is still very unnerving :( ~Mark

The site crashed yesterday Anne-Lise it would seem any comments made or received are flying about in the ether. I posted a poem yesterday (thank goodness I'm not one of the ten a day gang ) my poem has gone but thankfully I save my work and will re post it later today if soup are not able to re-instate our work:-) these things happen!:-) hugs Jan xx

Soup advise us to keep a back up of our work - I do or my poop would be lost to the world and that would be a tragedy lol:-) hugs Jan xx

Haha,, thankfully I'm a one a fortnight. I always write it in word then copy and paste so always have a backup.

Many were affected yesterday by this, myself included. Many will not know their work has gone. I think soup should put a message out to let folk know. Tom.

- Good that you have a backup, Tom :) - most often I also have a backup ... but, sometimes I do not have - The comment we probably have lost - hugs // Anne-Lise :)

Today I went to my latest poem and there were 3 comments left congratulating me on my win in the contest.. I took a look and I had gotten a 1st place.. and tonight I went back and the comments were gone and I didn't place. In the contest.. ?????? One of those comments copy and paste d the poem on Facebook so I know I am not losing it.. I can see the judge going back and changing the placements , but why erase the comments...... Why
