Kid-Landers, They Were
He was smiling with his fingers
Shaping a heart
He was not the focus of the camera
He was on one side, with his all-time favorite sister
His sister was holding him with a full-blown smile.
Kid-landers, they were.
I was looking at the picture, especially him
His eyelashes were awfully long, still are
He is a kid with no demand at all
He is a gentle, silent one
With a lot of words for his sister only
Kid-landers, they were.
I was trying to crop the picture,
For a subject of picture of those two
Unable to do that, as they were mingling
with other subjects so vividly, and I understood
Not everything is a subject of scissor-cut of subjectivity
Kid-landers, they were.
