Mind Your Own Business
In the garden of life, where diverse flowers bloom,
Don't let your gaze wander, to the plots that aren't your own.
Keep your eye on your plate, where your nourishment lies,
For in focusing on others, you'll miss your own prize.
The nosy parker's curse, is a path that's fraught with strife,
For in meddling with others, you'll lose your own life.
Their triumphs and failures, are not yours to claim,
So focus on your journey, and let others navigate their own game.
The winds of comparison, may whisper in your ear,
But don't be swayed by the triumphs, or the tears of others dear.
Your path is unique, your journey's yours alone,
So keep your eyes on your plate, where your growth is sown.
In the kitchen of life, where diverse dishes are made,
Don't be the chef who's tasting, from another's plate.
Savor your own flavors, and let others enjoy theirs,
For in focusing on your own, you'll find your own cheers.
The wise and discerning, know their own worth,
They don't compare or contrast, with others' birth.
They focus on their own, and let others do the same,
For in keeping their eye on their plate, they find their own fame.
So let go of the need, to know others' affairs,
And focus on your own, with all your cares.
For in keeping your eye on your plate, you'll find your own way,
And your path will unfold, in a brighter, more radiant day.
