WORKAHOLIC

Sometimes I feel a little unwell and don’t want to go to work,
Sometimes at home we are too busy and I don’t want to go to work,
Sometimes the weather is lovely and I don’t want to go to work,
Sometimes I am too tired and I don’t want to go to work;

But most days when I feel ok,
And the weather’s just ordinary,
And we are not too busy at home,
And I’m not too tired,

I just don’t want to go to work.

Very witty commentary in your poem, Syd. Unless people truly LOVE their jobs, most don't want to go to work. Enjoyed this one! As for the typewriter, it may have value as an antique, but the sentimental value supercedes it. I hope one of my nieces or nephews will keep it after I'm gone. Love, Carolyn
