     if i jump,
     and fall through the clouds...

     will you catch me?

     like a child's wish -
     made on Dandelion seed
     from a field
     and carried on the wind
waiting to be heard by God

     if that seed,
lands on soil and plants promise...

     will you search with me?

     for those precious secrets -
     wanting to be discovered
so we can be like faeries
     and somehow manifest
     gifts for those innocent hearts

     if I hold,
those hearts in the cup of my hands...

     will you whisper gently?

     that sometimes promises -
     get lost but feel broken
     and need revival
     like a thirsty tree stretching
it's leaves to the falling rain

     if i dare,
believe we are part of the Galactic...

     will you turn away intimidation?

     and choose excitement -
     telling the butterflies in belly
to fly out from the throat singing
     because young souls are waiting
for the energy of Older to guide

     if i understand,
i cannot fly in green suit forever...

will you help me grow up?

     without the cursing -
     or dwindling of spirit
     because we older still bloom
     holding ends and inbetweens
     growing buds from the Ancients

     and i,
     will be a sunflower...

     looking over the dandelion

This is so beautiful, Meena, to ask if you can trust the person... or to trust love itself... to ask if you can make that leap... I truly feel the helpless hope in your words, and they speak to me deeply. Thank you for writing this.
