What Doesn't Kill You, a Postscript

The obstacles that still may come As my clock is running down, Will try, I'm sure, their very best To put my mettle to the test, And, when all, at last, is said and done, It won't matter if I've lost or won. I may not go out with a bang or a shout, But, I believe I can leave minus simper or whimper.

Hello Jim, So well spoken about death and the willingness to accept life and not to find fault. I really enjoyed reading your poem for it touched many thoughts. - Blessings, My Friend, Daniel

There is a strength in passing time. Life is learned through experiences. Your poem delves deeply into a person's comfort with time and fate. Thank you for a splendid poem.
