On specific night, the moon shows part a story With sliced light's slant on key rock, By at odd interests' solarity— The cold rock fires back Through lumped scars mixed in as minerals; From behind, dark side's show, light lack. Oh my, this is a deeply evocative and poignant poem, dear Paige, you've so beautifully used the moon as a depiction of melancholy here, who is often known to be aware of all our secrets.. There's so much intricacy in these exquisitely crafted lines.. When moonlight falls but reflects back with scars.. A part of the story is revealed.. This creates a vivid picture in my mind..
