Too Late

Claim that you miss me
too late for you to see
what we had,
never again to be.

You stabbed my heart
now yours is tearing apart
you ask for sympathy
I smile in irony.

When I wanted you most
all I had was your ghost.
Now in turn
for me you yearn.

You threw me out
ignored my broken shout.
Now you want me back,
but I won't crack.

Baby, I've moved on
everything was just so wrong.
Lessons you should take
for your "biggest mistake"
