Too Hard

Technology’s too hard for me; My brain won’t let it stick. I can be taught a thousand times But nothing seems to click. I would have functioned better Living many years ago When everything I’d learned would be The most I’d need to know. Today, when I see upgrades I begin to shake and sweat. Do I download? Do I upload? If you tell me, I’’ll forget. On my iPhone or computer, If a problem comes to me, There’s no way for me to solve it; Same applies to my TV. Give me paper and a pencil And I’ll have an easy time Using what’s left of my brain cells To set simple thoughts to rhyme.

Hallelujah! I've finally found someone as clueless as me. Hmm. That didn't come out exactly how I wanted it to, Ilene, but I think you know precisely what I mean here... And btw, I 'solve' my problems by: not having an I-phone; never texting; no what's-up, no snapchat, etc; having a dumb-phone; etc. Ha, ha, ha. I don't know if I've fooled the Zuckerbergs of the world or if I'm the fool --- BUT I AM HAPPY THIS WAY. ~ Ignor Z. Trends

I'm glad that you write those fabulous rhyming poems. I have the same problems with technology. Technology has no beauty.

I feel the same way, Ilene! I have a love/hate relationship with my computer! / Maurice
