Time, the Invisible Band-Aid
Life can deliver you pain sometimes
And you will wonder if you can heal
There will be days you want to rip your heart
out
So you just dont have to feel
Your emotions will bleed out all over you
Others will see it in your face
You will try and stuff it down deep inside
Where all past hurts are placed
But there is a hidden danger
If you make friends with your inner pain
You will get trapped within a cycle
Where it will visit you again
Sometimes its the hardest thing to do
To let go of the burden that you bare
Dont be afraid to find a friendly shoulder
Of someone who truly cares
They say time heals all wounds
So patience is the key
And one day all the tears will end
And finally you will be free
