After last night's thunderstorm A heavy fog remains Drip-drops from oak leaves a constant Music entertains Visibility maybe 300 Yards, birds slowly awake A gradual orchestra sound Each his area staked Waterdroplets upon the moss Slowly slips, then slides off At the speed of eons quietly Slides, not a fast doff Sunday morning enjoyment free A few minutes with God Let not Satan rob the spirit Of its fill as through life plod

Nicely written and a thunderstorm is just what we need. It is so dry and garden has to be watered everyday. love phyl

Phyllis, I hope that you get a nice rain without any damaging elements of a storm..We have had some rain everyday lately which does help with keeping everything fresh..It is really muggy though..Thanks for dropping by..Sara

Thunderstorms can be scary and soothing; terrifying and musical; we learn to respect them and they inspire us to write. Beautifully done.

M.L., There are times when there is constant lightning, thunder and high winds that it can be very frightening but thank God that doesn't happen very often..God is good and has protected us through many storms..Thanks for the visit to my page..Sara

Joseph, I enjoy the sound of the birds and wildlife after the storm has cleared and they come alive again..I know that they enjoy the fresh water and the cooler air after the storm like humans do as well..Thanks for dropping by..I appreciate your visit to my page..Sara

Daniel, Yes, after the storm things smell wonderful and the lightning brings nitrogen to the earth and plants, trees and grasses green up..Just always hoping that the storm isn't too bad for sometimes they are very powerful..Thanks for the visit to my page..I appreciate the time spent here..Sara
