Thunderstorm

Thunderstorm Calm, as if frozen, leaves on a tree, a murmur from far, a sky torn between heavy clouds and mountain ranges. Then a rumble of thunder, a vehement wind dragging trees and shrubs, shaking the branches from their deep rest, forward and backward following an unknown beat. First lightnings illuminate the valley, waking the phantoms of night with glistering light, and lightning and thunder fall in rapid succession, and heavy rain pours out on empty streets.
