Will yesterday silence the night who is grief the shining story of a heart who can see beyond the fears, the tears, to sweet relief where the story remembers who I want to be, the love He offered when He came for me the love that tells me to fall down on a knee, pray to the Father who made my soul free, the Father whose love holds my heart’s key… will yesterday quiet the pulsing whisper of grace, the fading fires of yearning for God’s embrace? Will His wonder come down to sooth my soul? Will His glory reign so one day, I’ll be made whole? Will yesterday fade into twilight’s song offering me a promise of hope that can’t be wrong, the promise of peace that will last my whole life long, the promise of a light who is always glowing strong? Will yesterday reveal the music that plays on and on? the music of love and hope, the light that’s never gone the beautiful in the sea, the stars, the laughing dawn the love, offering praise of One to whom I’m drawn the miracle of a love that seeks to help me carry on this is the reason I know today, He’s the hope I slip-on, the love that is forever mine – His love will walk on … forever, freeing me from doubt, making a way out forever, reminding me this love is what life is about, reminding me that He is the reason I’ll give a shout reminding me that He is my heart’s only route!
