Ballade
A ballade is a verse form typically consisting of three eight-line stanzas, each with a consistent meter and a particular rhyme scheme. The last line in the stanza is a refrain, and the stanzas are followed by a four-line concluding stanza (an envoi) usually addressed to a prince. The rhyme scheme is usually 'ababbcbC ababbcbC ababbcbC bcbC,' where the capital 'C' is a refrain.

Sunbeams arouse me with their touch, a caress that Spring breezes share. At first, it does not feel like much for an answer to a prayer. And yet, it is beyond compare, luring the wild geese to take wing and return to Winter's Nightmare, for it's the beginning of Spring. Frisky rabbits breed in their hutch as parking lots host Spring's first fair. An extravaganza as such that lends excitement to the air; improvising color and flare. Robin red-breasts begin to sing and build their nests as couples pair, for it's the beginning of Spring. Girls start skipping rope, double-Dutch, and there is no snow anywhere. Nesting birds are brooding their clutch, and wildflowers bloom everywhere. Apple blossoms soon scent the air with sweet perfumes soft breezes bring. And flurries are extremely rare, for it's the beginning of Spring. Parents don their leisurewear, Spring season has a unique zing. And love sees passion's flame flare, for it's the beginning of Spring.
