Teton Titans

TETON TITANS Tetons’ bouldered shoulders close over Michael’s knelling golden clarion. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Written for ^Rick Parise's Contest "Nature Monoku ~ Single Line" NOTE Just couldn't resist this contest because the Snake River and the Tetons in the photo are one of my favorite spots.

I must admit you've totally lost me here, I get the Tetons bit from the other comments but where does Michael fit into this ? Oh yeah - congrats on the first place !

Thanks for reading me...Michael is the Archangel Michael in the Bible who blows his golden trumpet frequently, in this case to knell the day to a close...best wishes

How wonderful Sydney!!! As soon as I saw that picture, I thought of our trip to the Tetons,...................but I didn't think anyone else would recognize where it was....I'm thrilled that you saw it too!! Congratulations!!!

Carrie, many thanks for liking my poem about the Tetons....indeed since you have a personal interest in the district around those mountains you may find an earlier poem of mine of some small interest.... it's called...FOREST OF NORWAY MAPLES.....i am always pleased to receive a comment from you....i respect you highly...best wishes..Syd

oh,my gosh, is this snake river? That name came to me out of nowhere but I was afraid to use snake river, not really knowing the name of the one in the picture. It WAS snake river? I'm so silly I did not even know those were the Tetons!! And where ARE the tetons anyway? I predict this one could very well be in the top three! LUv, Andrea
