SUNSET IN LOVE

Glows the sunset...
soft hues in silhouette
kiss two hearts lost in the day—
hands in quiet hold,
sharing warmth untold,
eyes speak what words cannot say.

Fall the dusk-lit hours,
sweet as closing flowers,
wrapped in stars just rising above—
every sigh and smile
lingers love awhile,
drawn close by time… it’s love.

Note: This is a sequel to "Sunrise In Love" by a dear poetic friend.
