Sunday School Lovers-
We were young
just having fun... together playing
We got older and a little bolder we were swinging (I pushed you on the swing)
We were just two love birds flying in the wind
We went to Sunday school together, thanking God
For all He is...
Sunday school lovers,
Sister and brother
Promises of Hope Grace abundance
Our Soul dance
We were friends just until we got older (older)
Then once again those urges prompted me to say would you be my girlfriend
And we were then more than just mere friends, even then I held you by your shoulders
Future tense future tense, I really feel I believe we are, we are soul mates
We are just two lovebirds doves flying in the wind
Oh! and how our hearts do tug from the joy of love we bring
As children we went to Sunday school together praising God and singing hymns
And now that we are older girl we are now exchanging vows
Sunday school lovers (Sunday school lovers)
Sisters and brother
Promises of Hope Grace
Evermore fulfilling this space
Ooh! you're my soulmate, you're my soul mate this I can relate
You are sweeter than my favorite cake
Ooh la la you're my soulmate, soul mate this can say I won't hesitate
You're my soulmate you're my soulmate this I can this I say, I can see
There's nobody else in this world I want to be with
Oh! woo oh a oh oh
Sunday school lover
Sister and brother
Hallelujah
