Spring Has Sprung

An announcement is made, Winter is gone and spring is the trade. First on the scene, a red robin Everyone knows this is common. The Squirrels are on the hunt, Raiding the nuts out front. The mourning dove sings his tune, saying Spring did not come too soon. In the petunias, hummingbirds hover, Their wings are a magnificent color. Rabbits out of burrows and on the hunt, Stay out of my garden, I said with a grunt. I can let my dog out now to play, Hopefully she will chase them away. I love to watch Spring in my backyard, Winter in Minnesota is so hard.
