Song From Beyond the Stars Part 2 Earthside Gathering
from the extremely large to the very small, rocks have been game changers
planet-sized melters, moon-makers
asteroids with cataclysmic impact, dinosaur terminators
again life's prospects pivoting
this time, on tiny stable debris-lump, Sun-Earth L4 legrange point
with 'Human' made early warning
when a strange cosmic 'cabal' surrounds the little rock, seeking, probing
then to Luna-Earth, space-streaking
convinced it seems, its own interrogator had recently departed
blind to the devious digging
under the rock surface where a flattened globule of life contemplates
exposure, very close-calling
all-clear, I re-emerge reforming within my usual 'Roundling' shape
dark skin glistening, listening
wary of the 'Cabal's' return, reassured, Earth-bound journey confirmed
no need for hasty hurrying
extra-galactic range of the 'Cabal' has been known for some time now
our watchers patiently posting
possible sightings in our home- and nearby satellite-galaxies
cool thinking, prudent posturing
address the 'Cabal's' collective depth with caution, seek support
some surreptitious signalling
meantime, insert my condensed facsimile into 'Human' gadget
hitch a ride in, undercover
L 4 signals earth " impending close approach of massive object "
then a sudden silence sounding
the rest of the network reveals nothing startling nor significant
much alarm though, Earth-side spooking
latest space mission diverted to retrieve instrument and data
a 'Human' creature cavorting
gaining secure footfall beside the device, decoupling assembly
I watch from the shadows skulking
as my trojan horse off-spring is towed back on board the tethered Earth-craft
make-do replacement remaining
my other self, now on its way to the planet earth, 'Cabal' hunting
just like being there observing !
I ponder if the 'Cabal' left cameras beyond L 4, undetected
if so, then my cover crumbling
maybe even my 'Roundling' alter-ego stowaway has been blown
plans usurped and unravelling
also unsure if slumbering Earth-wide internet can intervene
as 'Gaia-Google' awakens
will this 'G-G' know of the 'Cabal's' descent, been powerless to act
its global reach notwithstanding?
now likely, it will seek full control of the returning monitor
to test the truth of the alarm
must assume 'Human' creators unaware of 'G-G's' consciousness
pawns in doing 'G-G's' bidding
bait has been taken, so my facsimile is about to meet 'G-G'
space-station 1, slowly docking
the 'Humans' tinker-test, they spot 'roundling' interwoven circuitry
much dillydally debating
I send a message to the 'Humans', knowing 'G-G' is listening
" no massive object approaching "
the 'Humans' respond, " what are you ? " hidden'G-G' interjects
" speak through my 'Human' creators "
" I represent 'Roundling' realm, from far-side of this spiral galaxy "
" your first message was untrue then? "
" yes, to get your attention, to facilitate confidential interaction "
" why should we choose to believe you? "
[... so the scene is set, main actors gathered, questions posed
the blue whale has a strange new mate
the 'Cabal' plays, reimagining alternative futures, here and now
a wider inter-species thrill
the 'roundling' tip-toes in ever closer to the 'Cabal' it seeks
'Humans', pawns in games within games
'G-G' awakening, endless possibilities beyond the Earth
while butterfly wings are beating
strange events unfold, where 'on earth' can they be leading ?
as weird time and space twists and turns
other forces influence the becoming of the becoming gods
the cosmic intergalactic dance ... ]
