I never knew how to play hide and seek, Just like that l never knew how to play hard to get, If l want you, l would just text, If l need you, l would just touch you, If l love you, l would just call, It’s a pity, we are now stuck in situation ships, Situations where sex is the vital need in relationships with or without commitment, It has become a norm getting dumped for sex, Or maybe we should just call it the “sex era”, Welcome to the world where brothers and sisters are making love instead of respecting each other, To the generation where hearts are getting broken like ice blocks, Where hearts are torn apart like a piece of paper, Where playing with feelings is like a game of football, Welcome to the generation where they smash and if you suck, they pass, The generation where we have buddies instead of a partner, The generation where there are no pure intentions, one moment you slide in the dm and the next moment we hear sex sounds, It’s a pity no one ever told us about the rules, These rules of waiting a couple of days or more before accepting a proposal, Its each man for himself while trust, loyalty and royalty swing, Guess we are learning the hard way.
