Serenading Spring
SERENADING SPRING
On the wings of winter the north winds flutter and depart,
the crystalline clumps of icy clouds hear their shrill whisper
‘fly far beyond the disappearing horizon, wait, don’t fall apart,
we will return after our arctic slumber as freezing twined drifter’.
The misty layer taken away the sky becomes cerulean clear,
the elixir of pellucid spring descends rippling in diaphanous air.
Glossy gossamer clouds clad in wispy ribbons of regal robe appear,
enticed by their satin shadow the blooming buds begin to unfurl flair.
Defoliated trees come to life after their verdant resurrection,
the sunburst horizon sprays dust of split spectrum on the meadow.
With rhythmic flow of zephyr the floral fragrance finds the direction
on the trails of butterflies weaving hued tapestry for springtime show.
The south winds waft your scintillating scent sailing to me,
in full moon magical night it allures me to the amorous river,
its silver ripples reflect the dancing moonbeam on your face I see.
In the ecstasy of embrace I will keep your spring serenading forever.
