Respond In Hope
Take heart in your circumstances
that you’re not at all poor
they are those worse off than you
in this, you can be sure
Take heart in all you can do
able to enjoy life by each breath
having family and friends nearby
all of this hopefully till your death
Take heart you are God’s creation
made in His image for His glory
living your life to His honour
so to tell your own true story
Take heart that God loves you
promising never to leave nor forsake
making you the apple of His eye
all the way to heaven to take
Take heart in all of your life
to respond in hope forevermore
having the divine hand upon you
each moment opens a brand new door
