Rescues Pets of the Homeless

God the news, this horrible ongoing news all the lies The optics insane, people dying by the hundreds A fake leader lying who does not read the news As the virus surges, children lost and the earth dies I have to bless dogs, so loving so attentive and true Our devoted friends though they are so often abused Treated like a dog, a dog of a movie. worked like a dog… Dogs such gentle protective creatures that see you thru They protect our police, and soldiers and the blind Giving warmth and joy to sick children in hospital beds Safety and companionship to those who are alone Silly and fun, watchful and warriors, gentle and kind I feel sad becaause of their warmth and joy so genuine so true By me during the nights when I went through medical infusions I wish I could bring another pup in from the cold But this must be enough for I already have two rescues The vigilance that a dog brings as a companion and friend Whether you are homeless in a tent, an RV or a home Give them a forever place for they will be loving and faithful A sweet creature your helpmate caring and loving until the end

A great tribute to our four legged family members. Such an important part of our lives. I’m glad you have two companions to share your journey with. Blessing Richard.

I have a feeling we would get along like salt and pepper, Linda. I have rescued and re-homed 19 dogs; and I have had up to twelve different dogs live with me at a time while I did it. I LOVE dogs! They are so wonderful! I think it is not just a mere coincident that dog is God spelled backwards. I love this poem!

I have a lot of respect for what you have and are doing, I have been ill so wish I could do more, so contribute as much as possible and donate dog foods to Salvation Army and our Vet Memorial to their dogs. Have two sleeping on the sofa right now. Just wanted to create a poem, not a super poem but super love. Take care thank you for your comment and for the work you are doing.
