Real Legal V Real Redemption

re-jargon re-emancipation re-align re-alteration, by design despair intended, no fear with the truth deflected, relagate remove re-tie, retrained in rejection to observe a "new" (religion) the temporal (love) that grows again from former things, and a past inglorious decidley mean rewind rewind ligature will bind, search (religeon) you will find, the death of beasts and blue eyed men, from torah priests and sun gods shamen, who killed the flaxen haired and strong, and claimed gods blessing to chant and song, yet the dark skinned jesus came! to end the sadness and pointless pain, he came to answer the sacrifical call, and yet his one aim to end it all, and when you see upon the cross, the blond haired christ or son of god, wonder not why it is so, also to the occident did his compassion go, to end religion and its shame, the old was gone when the truest LOVE called end of game.

Joe, I had seen this one before. I had guessed that you were against organized religion when you wrote this one. You have a very different style from mine so I am not always sure I get your meaning, but I think you are simply saying that things today are not done for the right reasons, right? In the other message to me, did you mean to say WW2 was a war for a good reason while the latest wars are not? I sure agree with that!

Somewhat like a ball game, Joe? The bases and outfield is tended by all races and creeds, but the home plate is where God and Jesus be? "the truest LOVE" will certainly call "end of game". Love reading your writes, Joe!! Best wishes, Love, Mikki

HI, JOe, here is one I missed from long ago. You seem to be speaking against organized religion. I know there is a lot of opposition to that these days. I really like that part " a dark skinned Jesus came, to end the sadness, etc." Thanks for your generous comments that you so often give to many poets here. Luv, Andrea

Awesome, Joe. So much to ponder in this poem. I don't believe God cares which religion we practice; He only cares that we have faith and treat others lovingly. With all of the wars prompted by religious differences, it's easy to see when "end of game" was called. A remarkable poem! Best wishes, Carolyn
