Oakville Indian Mounds 5k

A memory of years long past A haunt some called a sacred place ‘Twas here a daughter learned to race She’d start off slow and finish fast Those afterburners on full blast Around those mounds, a place to base a memory My grandchild, from the same mold cast Now on this course, her best time graced One cheered, one ran, both beaming faced And in so doing, they’ve amassed a memory ————— another rondine: (R a) b b a a b R a b b a R https://www.writersdigest.com/write-better-poetry/rondine-poetic-form

Nice memory there, Jeff. Hope you see your great-granddaughter recreate it once again...

I surely do like this form, Jeff. Did you invent it? Nice. I need to try it...and I will. Shall I credit you? It reminds me of the ABRACADABRA form that several folks were writing a while back.

Hmmm...this should be added to "Types of Poems." Similar to the Rondeau and Rondeau Redouble, it, nonetheless, is a viable poetry form, I think.
