My Vision

I'm on a long journey from
Sun up until sun down
My mission is to try and
Keep my vision around
I suffer from retinal detachment
In both of my eyes
Was almost blind forerver
But to my surprise
Through years and months
Of lazer surgery
My retinas are no longer detaching
But it's still a long journey for me
I look around at this world
People are so cold and grimy
When all I really want
Out of life is to see
Through the pain I still strain
But manage to find a way
To keep strong and have vision
Each and every day
The surgery helped me see but
My vision is very poor
So I will continue on my journey
Until I can't see anymore
