My Questions This Day
My Questions This Day
What are we doing with our patriotism?
Are we taking freedoms for granted?
Do we recognize subtle shifts in powers?
Will we ever, again, be able to fearlessly choose?
Or are we now over regulated individuals?
Are we subservient to politics?
Economic servants to the government…
Are we no longer free to go on about choosing?
Enduring the business of living…are we submissive?
Do political entities regulate us beyond freedom?
Do our laws serve the desires of the servers?
And what about the people? Do we serve God?
This nation was founded on religious freedoms.
Are those freedoms being infiltrated?
Will forced beliefs deny our freedoms to worship?
Or will we someday have oppressions to forebear?
Will we find, too late, a grave sorrow?
Sorrows for not better watching and defending—
Sorrows for focusing on getting instead of giving—
Sorrows for letting tyranny creep in undetected—
Our forefather’s gift, freedom, cost men their lives.
Our forefather’s fought for, won, and defended.
Our forefather’s fight for freedom was honorable.
Filled dreams and uplifted hearts were heaven sent.
We are their predecessors and must carry on.
Respect their winning by protecting our freedoms.
Defend liberty with the utmost care and endurance.
Wars resulting from greed and jealousy are ungodly.
Destruction of people and nations follows evils.
Wars devoid of peaceful goals devastate eternity.
Love God, live right, give love, and prepare souls.
Free agency of the individual is an eternal quest.
It is an everlasting test…how will you choose?
Ponder and pray? Choose the right with opened eyes?
Protect? Defend? Forbear? Endure? Ponder.
Friends. Those are my questions.
