My Last Breath
Many many years ago
On a summer day
You walked into my life
Put my heart on display
Look past her flaws
Look into her eyes
See what makes her smile
All the reasons she cries
I will always hold on
I'll never let go
Don't ever hold back
Let your feelings flow
Mistakes of the past
Mean nothing to me
They make you what you are
Give you true beauty
Unconditional love for you
Ever since the start
Watch you drift away
Tears me apart
I've given you my everything
I've given you my all
You raise my hopes so high
Just to watch me fall
Regardless of what
the future holds
I'll be waiting here
To see how life unfolds
I love you now
And always will
When the rest are gone
I'll be here still
Forever I will be
By your side
Set your heart free
and be your guide
If one day you decide
to let me in
you know where I'll be
It's where I've always been
I'll be in the shadows
Where you left me months ago
Don't know if were heaven sent
or from the depths below
But it matters none
Cuz friends is all we'll ever be
My heart longs for you
because you hold the key
Unlock the potential
Inside of me
Will forever love you right
If you'll just set me free
Something please
Give me a sign
All I ever wanted
Is to call you mine
I will fight for you
Til I reach my death
Happy I will be
Giving you my last breath
