My Hiding Place and My Shield - Psalm 119: 113-120

God's word is my true love for the hypocrite I so detest God alone is my hiding place in His presence is peace and rest Protection comes from God Himself He is my shield holding me close for in His word is found, my guard picture of beauty like a red rose Be rid of all that speaks evil so to obey the Lord with joy hope in God never know shame hold His promise forever to employ Helpless without your mighty hand a hand of safety forever be true avoid those that go all astray their vain ways remain in the queue Testify to all your tight ways for the wicked, you reject out of hand I live in your fear all day long judgment trembles me like grains of sand (This is my " Psalm 119 project" which I began to write a couple of years ago, so this is the fifteenth poem of twenty-two poems I've written over that time to cover all of Psalm 119.)
