Mental Health
The mind is a curious thing
It ebbs and flows like a stream
Sometimes calm, sometimes rough
Challenging our inner self-esteem
Mental health is often overlooked
Dismissed as merely feeling blue
But the battles often waged inside
Can be far from just a fleeting mood
The weight of anxiety can suffocate
Like a dark cloud hovering above
Depression can consume like a flame
Burning out the light and love
For some, the mind can be a maze
With no clear path to find their way
Challenges like bipolar disorder
Can make each day feel like a fray
The stigma surrounding mental health
Can make it hard to ask for aid
But healing begins with talking out
Those feelings that we've long delayed
So let us shed the judgment and shame
And start exchanging empathy and care
For we all deserve wellness and peace
To live our lives in a way that's fair
The mind is a wondrous entity
A power that can help us soar
With the right support and compassion
We can unlock boundless mental doors
It takes time, patience, and courage
To navigate a mental health storm
But know that you're not alone
In fighting these challenges, you're strong
So let us embrace the journey ahead
And care for our minds like fragile art
For within the confines of our being
Lies a beautiful, beating heart.
