Looking Forward
Hearing the heavy rain outside,
No longer makes me run and hide.
My outlook so different than before,
Now looking forward to what's in store.
The Kids are growing too quickly for me,
Figuring out who THEY want to be.
Hoping that they'll know one day,
I've always loved them in every way.
Regret-full for my moody mistakes,
But always doing whatever it takes.
Pushing myself as each day comes,
Hoping, at some point my good luck runs.
Eventually easing my anxiety and stress,
Being able to do what I feel is best.
