Holding Grief
Even though it's time to rest,
I feel a weight upon my Chest.
One more excuse but just until,
I fall asleep against my will.
Slowly I begin to dream,
Silently I shout and scream.
Terrified, but unsure why,
Motionless, I start to cry.
Feeling completely under duress,
Falling apart, becoming a mess.
Earnestly feeling I've done nothing wrong,
Determined to stand tall, be strong.
