God Perception
In my journey across languid life's undulating landscape,
the course of the designated track as ordained I don’t lose.
The hazards on the way I could circumvent and safely escape,
as I walk toward the final destination someone chose.
I don’t believe in what is said with dubious authority
that the genes control the life's course and the free will.
For surrendering to the supreme designer, the almighty,
the divine ecstasy of sacred fulfillment I could feel.
In tormenting wilderness my secluded soul is never forlorn,
for I can suffuse my being with the heavenly breath,
realizing the cyclic karmic fate of being born and reborn,
that God decides in a blink between life and death.
Released from the fold of sense-response my anguished mind
lies still in meditative tranquility of devout mindfulness.
At the end of the mortal tunnel godly guiding light I find,
where the devoted life reaches the stratum of consciousness.
Plunging within I swim sanctified in the boundless blissful sea,
I see the serene shore of nirvana waiting as my ultimate abode.
Blessed, I find illumined by divine galaxy His reflection within me,
and as my soul floats on the crest of spiritual wave I perceive God.
