Flowers and Love (Cornish Verse I-I)

I came with flowers and love,
just to see my maiden fair,
with the silver moon above,
I could do nothing but stare.

Her eyes cast a magic spell
and held me at her leisure.
I knew then I'd walk through hell
to bring her heart its pleasure.
