Canadian Sally
Canadian Sally with red ribbon strings
tightening an apron fit to the seams.
Canadian Sally with jet-black hair
bound in a hat of bright red beams.
Canadian Sally with pockets of fortunes
sowing them out to us all.
Canadian Sally of sombre spirit;
patience like that of a doll.
Canadian Sally a twilight bust
who's wreath circles 'round like an aura.
Canadian Sally from love and joy
who spreads it around like a flora.
