As we metamorphose
Trust your imagination, dream, believe,
Take my hand,
I'll show you land,
that you cannot perceive.
Join me as we take a ride,
Not across the planet, but inside,
Each creature, plant and stone,
Inhabit them, and make them home.
Burn with me in dawn's sunrise,
Delight in our painting of the skies.
We'll leap with gleaming flying fish,
Soar, and dive, become a wish.
Glide through silent bright blue sky,
Speak with gulls, answer their cry.
Watch auroras break Earth's shields,
Inhale with me magnetic fields.
Feel the internal transformation,
As I teach you echolocation.
I'll expand your retina to infra red.
Not feel, but see, the heat instead.
I'll teach your hooves to fly,
To feel muscles ripple as we gallop by.
Beneath the ocean way down deep,
We'll collapse our lungs and go to sleep.
We'll see with one thousand eyes,
A fractal human viewed by flies.
We'll thrust our stamens stiff and high,
And throb with lust as bees buzz by.
Together we'll photosynthesise,
Use light to food comprise.
We'll climb above the exosphere,
Breathe in stars, no air here.
Skim across oceans vast,
Our camera panning wide and fast.
Hear our soundtrack swelling, soar,
Our destination calling, on the shore.
Creation, life, our Mother Earth
We're all made of the same stuff.
Feel our atoms coalesce.
Our journey is the Universe.
