Anointed

The Church needed to be reformed
 and now we have thousand denominations
 of alienated Christians and many other religions.
 Are they any better or just diluted
 
or even worse than before,
 on the abyss of corruption.
 So we had one Church,
 some wanted to improve it.
 
There came Reformation,
 wars and annihilation of Nations
 In the name of anointed not the Creator.
 Baptists came from main source Christians.
 
From Baptists as they needed improvement
 came Jehova Witnesses and from them is coming
 something too for improvement 
as annoyed leaders in their visions lost their way.

The many variations of Christianity reveal how fractured our collective psyche really is. Other religions also have many 'levels' to them, so my advice to anyone who would listen is this: Live from the Heart. I enjoyed your poem, Art, thanks for sharing.

Perhaps, the church will evolve into another reformation? It looks that way. Your poem is thought provoking.
