Alone In Bed

Laying in bed, just me....all alone, Listening to the porch light moan, My window propped open, allowing the sound, Of a lonely moths wings as it flutters around. Intrigued by the rhythm and regular beat, Unknowingly, I shake my feet. My emotional composure weak at best, Preying soon I'll finally get some rest. Then suddenly, I begin to weep, And every so slowly, I fall asleep.
