A political thing in utero
(Sorry kids - Not A Poem but American "RULES" [ laws ] have become quite squiggly [ D.C. OUTLAW IS UBIQUITOUS ].
We've got a bifurcated polity whose basis displays internal contradictions that ought to be addressed if we are to recall and reestablish the means by which we "Form a more perfect union".
It's not rational to believe that men are inherently evil and that Governments' "First Order" is to eliminate or at least mitigate those human deficiencys yet allow unlimited "Capital-Power" to be accrued by those same individuals and not even question the wisdom of allowing their combinations'; an exponential magnification of said "evils" as it were, in corporate establishments also!
In a word, if we don't find ways to control, Collectively, "Capital-Power" it will eventually discover ways to control us and that is the new word: "Oligarchy" that Americans have recently been introduced to, probably for the first time.
Are we to associate then, a logical relationship between "Wealth Accumulation & Intelligence" and expect those with the most to carry our kind- humankind namely toward some better unimaginable future?
